Thank you all so much!

We're still sitting here with a smile on our faces, reliving the last festival – the heat we endured together (and somehow celebrated), the new faces who joined us, the moments you can't plan for and that just happened anyway. Thank you for being there, for joining in, for carrying it with us, and for laughing with us. Once again, it was proof of what this festival is really about.


And now... 2027!?

Like every year, we're faced with the task of figuring out how to pull off the next edition – and every time there are new challenges, one that's always there is funding.

Public funds and grants are being cut, our core team continues to work on a volunteer basis, and naturally that means limited capacity. Writing and managing grant applications, especially with an ever-shrinking chance of actually receiving support, is simply more than we can manage. Commercial sponsors are not an option for us – from our point of view, that just doesn't fit with what this festival is supposed to be. Smaller partners and allies, on the other hand, are always warmly welcome!

Through all our years of experience, we know exactly what sum is unavoidable. First and foremost are the artists' fees, along with their travel, hospitality, and technical needs – for that we need €25,000. We need another €10,000 for catering supplies, volunteer stipends for our extended team, and maintaining and expanding our infrastructure. Below that amount, we simply can't make the festival happen.

We can't grow much more than that – space is limited, it always has been, and over the past two years we've clearly felt the effects of the growing number of participants.

Early Bird: August 1 – October 31, 2026
We'd love for the next Avantgarde Festival to happen, from 18–20 June 2027 , and ticket sales start NOW—with an Early Bird phase and a slightly revised ticket structure.

The festival ticket (all three days) includes meals, camping, and, if all goes well, entry to the outdoor pool – we unfortunately have no control over that, as it depends on when the pool season starts.

Tickets are still available on a solidarity-pricing basis:
  • Regular: €125
  • If you can, pay €150
  • If you can't, pay: €100
But the Early Bird is more than just your chance at the all-inclusive ticket – it's an absolutely essential foundation for us.

We need to sell at least 100 Early Bird tickets during the Early Bird period. Only then will we have the financial security to even start the booking process for 2027.

So be quick, catch the early bird – be the guarantee we need!

Regular Ticket sales will beginn until Sunday, June 6, 2027


The festival ticket (all three days) will then be available without meals – the meal add-on can be booked for an extra €45.
